What you receive
A driver abstract is a snapshot of an Ontario driver’s record. This service provides the common uncertified 3-year record in PDF format. Depending on the driver’s record, it can include current licence status and class, expiry information, demerit point totals, active fine suspensions, and relevant convictions, suspensions or reinstatements from the past three years.
It is not a certified record, a complete lifetime record, a collision report or a driver’s licence history. If someone asked you for a document, confirm the exact record name before placing your order.
How online ordering works
- Enter your details. Use the name and 15-character licence number shown on the Ontario driver’s licence.
- Pay securely. Stripe processes the one-time $19.99 CAD payment. We do not receive or store your card number.
- Check your email. Once prepared, the driver record arrives as a PDF that can be saved, printed or forwarded.
When a 3-year driver abstract may be requested
People commonly obtain a driver abstract for employment screening, insurance discussions, rideshare or delivery work, volunteer driving, and their own records. Requirements vary. An employer, insurer or other requesting organization may need a different type of record.
